Growing up, I always had an attachment to music. It has been my first love since I could remember. I feel connected to the power of words, with vivid descriptions, painting visuals, with a variety of emotions being displayed. At one point, I never thought I would go on stage. The key components that got me on stage are having the heart and desire to, with the belief the outcome can be in my favor. I am a risk tasker that values authenticity and I push to challenge myself towards being the best version of myself..

Why spoken word /poetry over rap? I love spoken word/poetry because I have nothing to save me but my voice, performance, sometimes having to win over the crowd with the subject matter, relatability, the vulnerability that people feel but may not speak on, and how I convey my message as well as other factors.

I have no beats/instrumentals, catchy hooks, ad-libs, just my voice, and my talent as a storyteller to connect with others providing a variety of emotions, helping others to learn something, or providing a different perspective. I am working on my first poetry book release called Scatter Thoughts Beyond the Surface coming soon. The merch is in support of my upcoming book release, that I am excited about!
